Skyline and Signage

My favorite view of Chicago is at night, right outside of the Adler Planetarium. Its hard to explain why that is. I think the thing of it is, is that it is the only place where I really feel the citys granduer. It fills your entire field of view and it's stunning.

I also like the old signs. I hope they never get taken down.

I often wonder what ones motivation is for throwing trash into the lake. Is it accidental? Is it just not giving a shit? I'm just not sure.

I think it goes like this. I've got this garbage...I don't want this garbage anymore...There isn't a garbage can within 10 feet of me...There is a large body of water...things sink in water...When things sink, I can no longer see them...When I don't see them, they don't exist...I shall place this garbage in the large body of water ridding the world of this abomination...Gee, I like myself.

Something along those lines anyway.
